Die besten Dinge an dieser Anlagesuper Einheiten, man hat das Gefühl sich in einem kleinen gemütlichen Dorf zu befinden , der kl. Supermarkt ist 24 St. geöffnet ist mega gut sortiert frische Brötchen und Zeitung am Morgen, kühle Getränke ein Eis, oder aber die vergessen Zahnbürste etc. alles vorhanden. Internetanschluss ist ebenfalls vorhanden die Celebr.-Bar sorgt sich um das leibliche Wohl und die Hintergrundmusik am Pool das Personal ist sehr freundlich, wir waren als einzige Deutsche zu diesem Zeitpunkt in der Anlage aber auch das war kein Problem denn man ist recht aufgeschlossen jedem neuen gegenüber. In das Zentrum von Playa des Ingles konnte man mit dem Taxi für ein paar Euro gelangen (Busfahrkarten für 2 Personen sind in Deutschland teurer) BerichtHallo an alle die mal Urlaub im Vista Serena machen wollen, waren vom 26.04.08 bis zum 03.05.08 in der Anlage.Sind davon Begeistert.Die Anlage ist wirklich sehr schön gestaltet.Der Service rund um die Gäste ist super.Die Anlage ist auch perfekt für Familien mit Kindern.Die Poolbar läßt keine Wünsche offen.Hier kann man so richtig ausspannen und sich vom Altagsstress erholen.Das Personal ist sehr höflich und zuvorkommend,egal, Servicekräfte an der Poolbar der Rezeption, Reinigungspersonal oder auch das Managment extrem freundlich und nie ein langes Gesicht, das wertet den Urlaub auf.Die Wohneinheiten sind sehr schön.Wir werden wiederkommen.

Our 2008 Winter Break. My wife and I booked our 7 week winter break in Club Vista Serena on the internet - we had no recommendation from friends so were taking a chance on the information supplied on their website and from a phone chat with Anja in Club V S. Our choice proved to be an inspired one as from the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and at home in our new surroundings. The first thing you notice is that all the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful in every possible way. This warmth lasted till the last day of our 7 week stay. We had first floor accommodation. We found it spotless on arrival and very well furnished and fully equipped for all our needs. The cleaning and servicing were excellent. We enjoyed the pool area when we used it. There were plenty of sun beds available free of charge. As we are senior citizens we sometimes found the pool bar music a tad loud. We probably dined on our balcony 3 nights a week and went to a restaurant the other nights. We loved the promenade at Maspalomas but always took a taxi which were very reasonable - about 3.50 euro each way. There are a wide variety of restaurants along the promenade we used many of them - my favourite for sport on their big screens was the 19th Hole - very cheery staff and a lively buzz on big match days. All in all we had a great time and hope to go back soon.

My family (husband & 2 kids 9 & 6) & I arrived around 10pmish at the beginning of April '08. We were later than expected as we got lost getting there - the directions not the best - but a friendly reception & our request of a quiet 1st floor room had been arranged. The apartment, though not the biggest, was exceptionally clean & the kitchen well equipped. Lot's of bedding with more provided promptly upon request & lots of fresh towels which were changed almost every day. The pool area & bar was beautifully lit at night with thankfully no loud music or 'entertainment' during our 8 night stay! The grounds/gardens are very well maintained as are the buildings with the pool area, loungers & seating washed clean every morning! It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac (except when the bin men arrive early in the morning) and I have to say the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbour snoring! but that said, if you are looking for a very nice, quiet resort suitable for families as well as older couples (or those not after lots of resort based entertainment) this is the ideal place to go for a very relaxing holiday. We would take a taxi to Maspalomas to eat at night or walk 10/15mins to Faro Park 2 and as we had hired a car, would spend days out at the beach in Mogan. Having stayed in busier resorts in the Maspalomas area, this would be my ideal choice for a quieter more independent holiday. We hope to be back in the Autumn!

A very relaxing friendly place in a quiet area. Clean with good facilities and a lovely warm pool. Reasonable walk to most facilities - with numerous good restaurants in Maspalomas and surrounding area. Taxis cheap and easily available to go further a field. Friendly helpful staff. We would go again.

Club Vista Serena is a truly lovely place to stay....everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. Upon arriving I was greeted very warmly and offered something to drink - a refreshing glass of water after a long trip. The accommodation is wonderful....lovely balconied/terraced units which have everything you require for a comfortable stay...double bed (a real treat as most accommodations only have singles pushed together), microwave, TV with English channels (great if you feel like staying in in the evening) and what really pleased me was the essentials were awaiting upon arrival - bottled water in the fridge and washing up liquid and a cloth....little things which make a huge difference. The resort is well maintained, clean and tidy. The heated pool is inviting and the pool bar run by Miguel is superb...delicious food and friendly service. I have stayed in many accommodations over the past 10 years in Gran Canaria and by far Club Vista Serena is the nicest......highly recommended.

If you have been to Gran Canaria on a self catering holiday before then you will be used to a tiny fridge and two painfully underpowered rings being about the limit of 'self catering', along with surly staff and tatty furnishings. Vista Serena is so much better - with proper cooking facilities, a decent fridge and freezer (handily stocked with water when you arrive) and all the small appliances you will need (juicer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster). And it doesn't stop there - thoughtful touches like washing up liquid, a sponge and cloth, and kitchen roll are provided so that you don't have to rush to the Supermercado to buy this stuff at inflated prices. The room facilities get better - with a lovely bathroom that doesn't seem to run out of hot water, plenty of snuggly clean towels changed far too often (JOKE!), a decent (and quiet) air conditioner and even UKTV Gold - finally more than CNN!!! Look outside and the gardens are gorgeous. Well cared for and with lovely touches such as the 'Living on the Porch', and 'Life in the slow lane' signs on every door, it makes the whole place like a home from home. The people who stay here seem to be wonderfully polite - everyone has a 'good morning' or 'Hola! Buenas Dias' waiting. And even the children are well behaved -it must be the place that brings out the best in everyone! But the staff are the biggest revelation. They simply cannot help you enough. Friendly and accommodating, they always have time to help whether it be booking a taxi or attending to any (rare) problems in the apartments. You'll want to buy them a little something at the end of your stay, because you will be so glad that you went to Vista Serena!

Footnote: We stayed there [on Gran Canaria] for the first time after getting to an apartment in Gran Canaria on Christmas Eve 2007 that we had to spend 4 hours cleaning simply to make habitable. The rest of the place was appalling too - everything broken, dirty, or even a dangerous washing machine that I got a big electric shock from. We went hunting for somewhere else at the height of the season, and even though it was a struggle, Rachel at Vista Serena managed to find us an apartment there and saved our Christmas (that call to say 'yes' on Boxing Day afternoon was a blessing!) - which is why we went straight back at Easter - as big a recommendation as you can get!

Nice hotel club with family atmosphere and good service. There is a lot of families with small children, so maybe the hotel could have baby care (chair for cars) for rent, because it is hard to get a taxi with a chair.

A fantastic friendly resort where the staff appreciate you are on holiay and go out of their way to make your stay an extremely pleasant one. The resort is quite small and intimate but is very well set out to maintain your privacy. The rooms are well kept and have everything you will need. All rooms are fairly large. If you are looking for a quite holiay spot where you will b well looked after then I would have no qualms in recommending the Club Vista Serena.

We love this place!! It really is like home from home, from the minute you arrive at reception, nothing is too much trouble for anyone.We have been coming to Vista Serena at least twice a year for the last 3 years and are now on first name terms with everyone, from Esther in charge of the Cleaning team, to Julio who looks after the clubs' maintenance and the fab girls who look after all our reservations!and last but not least our very good friend Miguel who runs the pool bar/restaurant(brilliantly!). This is a place you really DO have to come and visit. You wont regret it!! and will return time after time.

I love the Canary islands and have been many times.  This year we rented an apartment at Club Vista Serena and I can honestly say it was the best holiday we have had.  The apartment was immaculate and cleaned daily, the pool area is tranquil and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.  We hardly left the resort in the two weeks we were there and have already booked to go back again!!!

I have now spent 5/6 holidays at Club Vista Serena, this complex is small but delightful, the staff make the holiday as they are always so friendly and helpful. The apartments and facilities are of a good standard, and spotlessly clean. There is a shop open 24 hours which is so convenient for late arrivals. There is a friendly bar and some entertainment but consideration is given for the noise level rarely after 12pm. This complex is very safe and every need for guests is attended to, with on going improvements, such as recently added air-conditioning and refurbishment of the apartments. The location makes this a great base for a beach/sightseeing holiday with the cost of taxis being so cheap, beach, shops, bars and restaurants only a short ride or walk away. Lastly the complex is only 20 minutes from the airport.
